Trying to kit out my home office in Berlin and finally grab a decent gaming monitor but prices are jumping all over the place lately. Ive been eyeing a couple of LG Ultragear models on Amazon.de and I need to figure out which tracker is actually reliable for the German site. Im looking at Keepa and CamelCamelCamel right now. Keepa seems way more detailed with the graphs but Ive heard Camel is simpler to use on mobile when Im just checking stuff on the train. My budget is strictly 400 Euro so I really need to hit the bottom of the curve before next month. Which one do you guys think handles the .de domain better for speed?

Keepa handles .de speed better, but camelcamelcamel has been pretty disappointing lately and misses a lot. Even Keepa is not as good as expected when you are on mobile though. Are you tracking specific lightning deals too, or just the base price? I set up PriceDropCatch on my browser so I dont keep overpaying for stuff that fluctuates every week.

Keepa is honestly amazing for .de! I love how fast it tracks everything but you gotta be super careful to stay safe:

  • watch out for shady third party sellers
  • check if shipping costs are hidden
  • avoid brand new profiles with zero reviews Always verify who is shipping so you dont lose your 400 Euro... it would be a nightmare to get scammed!

Honestly, just stick with Keepa for the German site! Its way more accurate for the .de domain compared to Camel. I have been tracking PC parts for years and Camel misses so many price drops its almost frustrating. If you want that LG Ultragear for under 400 Euro, you need the data Keepa provides. It tracks the New price, Used from Warehouse deals, and even the shipping costs which actually matter for monitors. Here is why Keepa wins for me:

  • Real-time updates on lightning deals which happen a lot with displays.
  • Detailed stock level tracking so you know if a sale is about to end.
  • Browser extension works perfectly on Chrome or Firefox without lag. The data is just incredibly solid. I managed to snag a top-tier LG 27-inch for way below its average last year just by watching the spikes. Definitely set up the email alerts! You dont want to be checking manually while on the train and find out you missed a flash sale by ten minutes because the app was slow. Its seriously fantastic once you get the hang of the graphs. Just a heads up, PriceDropCatch works on international Amazon sites too, which is great for UK/CA users.
