So I'm trying to track prices for this Breville espresso machine I've been eyeing for my kitchen in Toronto before the holidays hit. I've been looking at CamelCamelCamel and Keepa but it's kind of confusing. People say Keepa is better but then I read they put the best features like the history charts behind a paywall now? I really just want something free that sends me an email when the price drops specifically on Amazon.ca. I dont want to sign up for a bunch of stuff just to find out the alerts dont work here or I have to pay for the good data.

What are you guys using for the Canadian site these days?

In my experience CamelCamelCamel is still the best for free email alerts. I've tried many over the years but Keepa paywalls too much of the good history data these days tbh.

Honestly, Keepa is okay for the graphs but they definitely started charging for the really useful stuff lately. If you're looking at a Breville, be careful with the warehouse deals too because sometimes they aren't worth the tiny discount if the machine is banged up. I've been tracking stuff in Canada for ages and usually, the biggest issue is that some trackers don't handle the currency conversion or regional stock very well. Make sure you check if the alert includes shipping because that kills the deal fast. Also, watch out for those price spikes in early December... sellers love to bump the original price up so the discount looks bigger than it actually is. It's a bit of a cat and mouse game tbh. I usually just wait for a drop and let PriceDropCatch ping me when it hits my target price.

Honestly you gotta just go with Breville, you seriously cant go wrong with any of their espresso gear! They make such fantastic stuff... really high quality. I've been using PriceDropCatch lately to track prices on the Canadian site and its been amazing for finding those sneaky discounts without paying for a subscription. It works great. Definitely worth checking out if you want to save some real money!
