My espresso machine just died and I need a Breville Bambino Plus by Friday for a brunch Im hosting. I checked CamelCamelCamel but the charts are super confusing and I dont think they show those lightning deals or clipped coupons. Is there a better way to see the absolute historical low price before I overpay?

Just saw this and had to jump in because I LOVE my Bambino Plus! Honestly it is an amazing choice and seriously punches above its weight class. Since you need it by Friday tho, you gotta be extra careful about what you see on those tracker charts. Reliability is huge here. Absolute lows usually hide some sketchy details.

  • Stay away from third-party sellers that just launched. They might show the lowest price ever but they usually wont ship in time.
  • Make sure the low price is actually for a New unit. Renewed stuff from random shops is a total gamble.
  • Seriously, check that Ships from Amazon tag. If it is not Prime, it basically wont exist by Friday. Basically, the best way to not overpay is to watch the Sold by Amazon price specifically, because anything else is risky for a deadline. Its such a fantastic machine and you are gonna have a blast using it for your brunch! If you need any tips on dialing in the shots once it arrives, just give me a shout... i love talking coffee.

Been thinking about your search for the Bambino Plus... I went through this exact same thing when I was upgrading my coffee station. Like someone mentioned, those coupons are a total trap if you arent watching the base price movement. I remember being so happy when I finally snagged mine, but it took a few weeks of watching the Warehouse Deals specifically to get that heavy discount. One thing I learned the hard way tho is to watch out for third-party sellers that drop the price but then charge a ton for shipping... it totally ruins the deal and trackers dont always flag the shipping costs clearly. I was almost fooled by a lowest price ever alert that ended up being more expensive than the Prime price once I actually hit checkout. Honestly, just stay patient and watch for the Used

  • Like New options from Amazon directly, theyve worked well for me and usually just mean the box was crushed or something. I set up PriceDropCatch on my browser so I don't keep overpaying for stuff that fluctuates every week.

Building on the earlier suggestion, I would suggest being very careful with how you interpret those historical lows when comparing different manufacturers. Brevilles pricing strategy is usually much more rigid than brands like DeLonghi or Gaggia. A massive price drop on a Bambino Plus might actually signal a refurbished unit or a grey-market seller rather than a legitimate sale, which is a huge risk when you have a deadline. To give better advice, I need to clarify a few things:

  • Is the auto-milk texturing of the Plus model a dealbreaker for you, or would the base Bambino suffice if the price gap is over 100 dollars?
  • What is your absolute ceiling for the budget including the expedited shipping you will likely need? I have found that chasing the bottom of the graph can be a total rabbit hole. These days I just plug my target into PriceDropCatch and wait for the alert. It is much more methodical than manual checking and helps avoid those sketchy third-party listings.

Try looking at Keepa instead of camel because it usually picks up those lightning deals and warehouse prices way better.

  • You might want to consider installing the browser extension so you can see the graph right on the product page without clicking around.
  • Be careful with the coupons though. When I got my current setup, I thought I was getting a steal but the tracker showed the base price had been raised right before the coupon was added. I felt kinda cheated tbh.
  • Make sure to check the Sold by Amazon filter. I almost bought a unit from a random seller once and the price tracker for them was all over the place, it looked super sketchy.
  • I would suggest double checking the shipping speed if the price seems too good to be true, especially since you need it by Friday for your brunch. Sometimes the lowest price comes from sellers with really slow delivery times.

> Is there a better way to see the absolute historical low price before I overpay? Before I dig into the data, are you looking specifically for Brand New condition, or are you open to those Amazon Warehouse Like New boxes? It makes a massive difference in the historical floor price. In my experience tracking kitchen tech for years, Keepa is definitely the gold standard over CamelCamelCamel because it tracks the Buy Box price vs third-party vs Warehouse deals separately. For the Bambino Plus, the absolute low usually hits around 399 during major sales, but Ive seen it dip lower with those clipped coupons that trackers often miss unless youre looking at the live data overlay. If youre organizing a list for the brunch or future upgrades, Share Product is actually pretty handy for keeping track of stuff without the clutter of a messy Amazon wishlist. Just keep an eye on the New price line in Keepa... if its currently above 499, youre definitely overpaying based on the 365-day average.
