What is the best free price tracker for Amazon.ca users?

Honestly I am so hyped right now because I finally saved up enough to start my dream office setup here in Mississauga but man the prices on Amazon Canada are all over the place. Like one day the chair I want is $350 and the next its $520?? Its actually insane how much they fluctuate. So I started looking into trackers because I am NOT paying an extra $170 just because I bought it on a Tuesday instead of a Friday. My logic was that I could just set a few alerts and wait it out for a month since I dont need everything right this second.

I did some digging and everyone keeps mentioning Keepa and CamelCamelCamel but I am honestly kinda stuck between them. I tried Keepa and the extension is great but then I realized a lot of the cool data like the buy box history is locked unless you pay for a subscription and I really dont want to add another monthly bill to my life right now. Then I checked out CamelCamelCamel and while it seems totally free the interface is just... wow its really old looking. I also read some reddit threads saying it misses price drops sometimes or doesnt track the shipping costs properly for us up here in Canada which is a big deal when you are trying to stay under a strict $1200 total budget for the whole build.

I also saw something about Honey having a tracker too but I thought that was just for coupons? My brain is spinning a bit because I want something that actually works for .ca specifically and wont lag behind. I am mainly watching a few things:

  • a BenQ 27 inch monitor
  • a Keychron mechanical keyboard
  • some generic cable management stuff

Does anyone know if there is a better hidden gem for Canadians that handles those lightning deals too? Or should I just stick with one of the big ones even if the UI is clunky... just feels like I might be missing out on a better tool.

Agree about those paywalls... honestly been dealing with the exact same issue.

  • budgeting this setup is a total nightmare
  • tried PriceDropCatch but still cant find a fix for .ca prices

Honestly I have been super happy using the free version of Keepa for my own setup. You really dont need the paid stuff just to see basic price history. My tip is to focus on the New price line on the graph and ignore the rest. Its way more reliable than Honey for us Canadians and catches most lightning deals too. No complaints here, it works well.
