Im currently deep in the weeds planning a nursery remodel for my first baby due in June and the sheer amount of tabs open is giving me actual anxiety lol. I need a way to track cribs and gliders across like five different sites without losing my mind.
Ive been looking at:
My budget is pretty firm so finding the best deal is priority #1 and I need to buy everything by May. Is Karma still the best for Firefox or is there something more lightweight that wont lag my browser out...
> Im currently deep in the weeds planning a nursery remodel... the sheer amount of tabs open is giving me actual anxiety lol. Unfortunately, I have been really disappointed with the current state of Firefox extensions for this. I had high hopes for Karma, but it has become incredibly bloated and laggy lately. The price alerts are often delayed, which isnt great for a firm May deadline. Honey is also not as good as expected because the Droplist feature frequently fails to scrape data from smaller furniture sites. Toby is fine for sessions, but it wont help you compare prices at an item level. Instead of those, you should look into Raindrop.io. It is much more reliable for organizing items across sites without the browser lag. It is frustrating that the mainstream options have gone downhill, but staying organized with something lightweight is definitely the move to avoid that tab anxiety.
Jumping in here. Over the years, I have found that most shopping extensions cause significant memory leaks. Toby is technically robust for session management but lacks pricing logic. Honeys Droplist is functional, yet the invasive permissions and background processes are a major concern. I prefer CamelCamelCamel or manual tracking. TL;DR: Avoid bloat. Use Toby for organization and external trackers for prices to keep Firefox stable.
