I am honestly so stressed right now trying to organize my sisters 30th birthday gifts and its becoming a total nightmare. There are four of us trying to coordinate this $500 budget and everyone keeps texting me different links and I am losing track of everything. My logic was just have one big cart we all add to so I can just hit buy on Friday but I cant find a button for it.

I really thought we could just all log into one cart but then the stupid two factor authentication keeps locking my brothers out because its my phone number and it is just so frustrating. Is this even a thing or am I just going crazy? I really dont want to have to copy paste 20 links into my own cart manually...

Amazon doesnt have a shared cart feature for different accounts. You might want to consider the security risks before sharing logins because it always triggers 2FA locks. I would suggest just using an Amazon list and inviting everyone as collaborators. Go with a list, you cant go wrong for group gifts and it avoids the manual copy pasting.

Just found this thread and honestly, stop sharing your login right now. It's a massive security risk and obviously isnt working with the constant 2FA locks. I'm really satisfied with using browser extensions instead of fighting with Amazons actual site.

  • Go with any reputable shared shopping extension, you cant go wrong with those.
  • Most of them let you create a group and everyone just hits a button to add to your master view.
  • I've been using the method I found on Smartphone Board for office supplies and it's a total lifesaver.
  • It's much more reliable than copy-pasting links into a notes app or something. It works well and keeps things organized without needing everyones phone for codes. Just get any group shopping tool and it'll solve the nightmare. No complaints here.
