I really need to figure this out before the sales go live tomorrow because my budget is super tight this month and I cant afford to overpay on a new ultrawide monitor Ive been eyeing. I have about 500 bucks saved up for that and a few air fryers for gifts but the prices on Amazon are already bouncing all over the place and it's making me so anxious.
I used CamelCamelCamel years ago just on the website but people keep telling me the Keepa chrome extension is the way to go now even though the interface looks kinda like a mess of spreadsheets and lines. I tried installing Keepa and the charts are everywhere and I honestly dont know if I need all that data or if Camel is still good enough for just basic price tracking. I just need to know if the deal I see is actually the lowest price in the last 6 months or if they just hiked it up last week to make the discount look bigger.
Keepa seems to have more features for like stock tracking but maybe thats overkill? I'm mostly worried about accuracy and it not slowing down my browser while I'm trying to check out fast. Which one should I actually stick with for a high-stress shopping spree tomorrow morning?
Look, if youre serious about that monitor, Keepa is the better bet even if the UI looks like a disaster. Camel is fine for casual stuff but it misses too many data points during high-traffic sales like tomorrow.
Keepas technical advantage lies in the refresh rate. It scrapes data much more frequently than CamelCamelCamel, which often lags during high-volume events. Its a decent option for precision.
