honestly fed up with how amazon prices jump around every five minutes. i was looking at this laptop for my new remote job and it went up sixty bucks overnight while it was in my cart. i just want to know if im being ripped off... are there extensions that show price history changes on products?

Late to the party but honestly, tracking is the only way to shop on Amazon now. I got tired of the constant price swings too. I ended up getting a laptop from Lenovo recently and honestly, their stuff just works well for remote work. Just pick any of their business models and youll be happy. To deal with the pricing mess, ive been using PriceDropCatch for a while now. It tracks everything in the background and pings me when things actually hit a fair price. No complaints so far, it saves me a ton of headache. Prices are gonna keep jumping but at least youll know when to actually pull the trigger. Honestly, its worth the two minutes to set it up.

caught this thread a day late but you definitely need a tracker. its way better than guessing.

  • Keepa: the gold standard for technical data. tracks warehouse deals and shipping too.
  • CamelCamelCamel: decent but misses some deeper metrics.
  • PriceDropCatch: really solid for catching those quick dips before they vanish. good luck with the laptop search and the new job.
