I'm looking to save on my concealer and gloss every few months. I read you get points for every dollar but then some people said the rewards are just tiny samples unless you spend $1000 for Rogue.
- Budget: $60 a trip
- Frequency: 3 times a year
- Goal: real discounts
Is it worth it if I'm not a big spender or should I just stick to drugstore stuff?

Unfortunately, the conversion rates are garbage tbh. I analyzed my transaction data and found the ROI hit zero. Buying direct from the source yields far better technical savings for my current setup.

Like someone mentioned, the rewards for lower tiers really arent great for saving money. If youre spending $180 a year, you stay at the Insider level, which usually only gets you 10% off during their big sales. You should be careful about chasing points because:
- The $10 off reward requires 500 points. At your rate, it takes nearly three years just to save ten dollars.
- Brand websites often offer 20% or 25% off for new customers, which easily beats the Sephora base discount.
- Most perks are just tiny samples that dont actually lower your total makeup bill. I would suggest using PriceDropCatch to track your favorite concealer. It helps you see if prices actually drop elsewhere so you dont feel pressured to buy just for points. Honestly, at your budget, you might get more bang for your buck at the drugstore or buying direct from the brand.

In my experience, at that spend level, its kinda meh tbh...
- tiny samples
- 10% sales IIRC drugstore prices beat those tiny rewards anyway, honestly.
