Can I get a partial refund if my Sephora order goes on sale?

So I just dropped like $215 on a bunch of Drunk Elephant stuff last Tuesday for my sisters birthday gift and literally two days later half of it went on sale. My logic was to just buy it early so I wouldnt forget but now I feel like I just threw away forty bucks.

I looked it up on their site and they mention a one-time price adjustment if it happens within 7 days but then I saw some girl on tiktok saying they only do it for items that are still in stock online so now im confused. Since I already opened one of the serums will that mess it up? Do I actually have to go into the store and deal with a manager or can I just call them? I really dont want to have to return everything and rebuy it...

Like someone mentioned, the stock status is key. IIRC Sephora wont match if it is sold out online... I used to miss all the flash sales until I started using PriceDropCatch for my Sephora cart.

Sephora is super strict about items being currently available for the lower price when you ask. I once waited too long and the Tula cleanser I wanted adjusted sold out, so I lost my chance. Heres what I would suggest doing to handle it:

Call their customer service line instead of using the chat. Chat agents are way more likely to give you the runaround about the 7-day rule.

Make sure the items are still showing as in stock on the website while you are on the phone with them.

Dont worry about the opened serum. For a price adjustment they usually just credit the difference to your original payment method without making you bring the physical product back.
