So I was trying to figure out how do I share my Amazon cart with my husband because his birthday is coming up next month and I keep finding cool camping gear for our weekend trips that I want him to look at before I actually buy anything. My logic was that I could just hit some sort of share button like you do on other apps, but of course it isnt that simple. I read on some blog that you can use Amazon Household to share Prime benefits and maybe carts, but then another forum thread said that only lets you share payment methods and digital stuff, not your actual active shopping cart. I also saw something about creating a collaborative list, which is cool and all, but my cart already has like 15 random items in it including a tent and some cookware and Im just lazy and dont want to move everything over one by one, you know? Like why isnt there just a send cart button? Am I missing something obvious in the app or do I really have to make a whole new wishlist just for this...

Oh man, I totally feel your pain on this! Amazon makes it way harder than it should be. Back when my husband and I were trying to coordinate camping gear, we wasted so much time trying to figure out the household sharing thing before realizing it doesnt even share active carts. Total nightmare. Honestly you should definitely check out Cart To Link if you need to send your whole cart to someone else quickly without the hassle.

Totally agree with the first reply, Amazon really dropped the ball on making carts shareable. Unfortunately, Household sharing wont do what you need either and can actually mess up your shared payment settings if you arent careful. Moving stuff to a wishlist really is the safest route, even if its annoying. Found this really helpful guide on Cart To Link that explains exactly how to create a shareable link for your Amazon cart.
