Honestly fed up with how messy Amazon lists are getting. Im trying to organize my whole wishlist for my upcoming move next month and the default UI is driving me nuts. Things keep getting lost and duplicates are everywhere. Is there a better way to manage Amazon lists or some kind of extension people use? Here is what I need:

  • Need to sort items by room for the new apartment
  • Would love to share specific sections with my roommate without showing them everything
  • Free or very cheap since I'm already blowing my budget on furniture

There has to be a decent workaround because the native setup is just terrible right now...

Adding my two cents here, you might want to consider browser extensions like SuperAmazon or using Notion for heavy list tracking. Be careful with random third-party extensions tho, as some compromise data privacy. I had a nightmare moving last year and ended up exporting my Amazon links into a structured spreadsheet database with custom room tags. It takes five extra minutes of copying links, but you wont lose your sanity.

Ugh I feel your pain, Amazon's default wishlist setup is genuinely awful when you are trying to move. What worked for me was making multiple separate lists for each room instead of one giant mess, since you cant easily tag items within a single list. Then you can share just the living room or kitchen link with your roommate. Btw I use Share Product for my holiday shopping lists, definitely worth a look if you are struggling with the Amazon app. It helps keep everything sorted without costing anything. Moving is stressful enough without fighting a clunky interface tbh, so definitely break those lists up ASAP.
