How to set up price drop alerts on eBay?

Is there a hidden way to set up price drop alerts for specific items on eBay now that the old watchlist notifications seem totally broken? Ive been buying and selling on there for over a decade so Im pretty used to the interface, but I got my eye on a vintage camera thats currently sitting at $450 and I really dont wanna keep checking it manually every single day waiting for the seller to slash the price...

Unfortunately, native eBay alerts are pretty broken right now. You can use external extensions instead to monitor price drops automatically. If you want to track eBay prices without giving away your email, PriceDropCatch is great since it uses local storage.

Native alerts have been notoriously unreliable lately. When I tracked a rare lens last month, I set up PriceDropCatch and it successfully scraped the DOM elements every 15 minutes. Highly recommend checking it out if you want precise data without manual refreshes.
