Im buying tons of cute gear for my new lab puppy arriving Saturday! I have about 10 items in my cart but I really need to send the whole list to my roommate to see what he thinks. I feel so silly asking but how do I get a link for my actual cart to send him?

^ This. Also, be careful with those links as they sometimes leak private info.

  • Are you trying to let him edit the items?
  • Or just view the puppy gear?

> how do I get a link for my actual cart In my experience, you cant share a live cart. Over the years Ive just moved items to a Wish List instead, it works perfectly and takes seconds!

In my experience, you should be careful with shared sessions. Honestly just search for how to share amazon cart and follow one of the top guides. I saw a really solid video about this once that explains the privacy risks way better than I can. Better to just look it up yourself than risk your account info.

Like someone mentioned, sticking to the Wish List feature is the most reliable way to handle this. It works perfectly because it is built into the site and you do not have to worry about your session timing out or leaking your address by mistake. Its a decent option if you follow these steps:

  • Go to your cart and hit Move to List for all the puppy stuff
  • Create a new list specifically for this so it stays organized
  • Use the Invite button to get a shareable link
  • Select the View Only option so he cannot mess with the quantities This approach depends on your needs, but if you just want feedback, it is the safest bet. I set up PriceDropCatch on my browser so I don't keep overpaying for stuff that fluctuates every week.
