How do I share my Amazon shopping cart link with others?

So I'm trying to coordinate this backyard reno project with my husband and I've loaded up my amazon cart with about $500 of lighting and decor. I need him to look at it before I checkout tonight but I'm hitting a wall. I read online that you can share a cart through some Amazon Fresh workaround but we aren't buying groceries so it doesn't seem to work for regular items. I also saw people suggesting a Wish List but I really don't want to go through the hassle of moving 15 different items to a new list just for a two-minute look. If I copy the URL from my browser it just shows him his own empty cart. Is there some hidden button to just send a link to my specific cart?

Regarding what #1 said about "Amazon doesnt have a direct button, honestly. I..." - unfortunately it is true. I had issues with lists last year and items kept disappearing... so disappointing. Are you guys on the same Prime account or separate ones?

  • Use amazon cart share links to generate a simple landing page for him.
  • Copy individual ASIN codes from product details to a shared doc.
  • Use the Invite to List feature, tho it is buggy.

Amazon doesnt have a direct button, honestly. I use a browser extension called Share-A-Cart and its worked well for my projects. Just saw a post on Smartphone Board about this snag for power users. It creates a simple link that populates your items in his cart instantly. Im really satisfied with how much time it saves compared to making those tedious lists.

I ran into this exact same headache when we were picking out new patio furniture last spring. I probably spent an hour looking for a share button that just doesnt exist. Honestly, I am pretty cautious about what apps I link to my shopping accounts because of security, so I usually stick to the native Amazon features. What I ended up doing was making a quick list and hitting the invite button so my husband could edit it too. It actually worked well because it keeps everything organized in one spot and I felt safe knowing it was all within their system. Since youre doing a big project, you might want to keep an eye on the total cost too. I am always looking for ways to save a few bucks on these big orders, so I have been using PriceDropCatch lately. It sends an alert when the items in my list actually go on sale. I am really satisfied with it because I dont have to keep refreshing the page every ten minutes to see if the price changed. Its reliable and hasnt let me down yet. Just make sure he has the invite link and he can see everything youve picked out in about five seconds without you needing to share logins or anything.
