How do I share my whole Amazon cart so my mom can pay from her account? Im torn between using a Share-A-Cart extension or just making a Wish List, leaning toward the extension because its faster but not sure if its safe since I need this stuff for my dorm by Sunday. Is there a better way?

Regarding what #1 said about cart tools being risky... i totally agree!! Safety is everything when you're ordering dorm stuff! Honestly, just stick to the Wish List method. It is amazing because it lets your mom handle the prime shipping costs directly without sharing passwords or using sketchy plugins! Extensions can be super sketchy with your data. Better safe than sorry when you need that gear by Sunday!!

Late to the thread but you really gotta be careful with those browser extensions. They track way more than just your cart. For cheap dorm stuff, I would suggest sticking with AmazonBasics for the essentials. You cant go wrong with their gear and itll save your mom a ton of money compared to the name brands. A few things you might want to consider:

  • Lists are way safer because they dont mess with your browser cookies or login data.
  • Check price trackers like CamelCamelCamel to make sure you arent overpaying just because its back-to-school season.
  • Make sure to set the shipping address correctly on the list so your mom doesnt accidentally send it to her house. Honestly, prices for this stuff fluctuate like crazy right now. Stick to the basics and avoid the fancy plugins... not worth the risk if youre on a deadline. btw I use PriceDropCatch for this and it works great for tracking skincare restocks or sales.

Agreed. I once used a cart tool and it leaked my info... what a mess.

  • watch permissions
  • found tips on Smartphone Board I would suggest being very careful.
