How do I share my Amazon cart with someone without giving them my login stuff?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have no idea where to start and Im kinda worried my sister will see my credit card info if I let her log in. Its for my birthday shopping next week and Im totally lost.

Never hand over your password to anyone, even family. Honestly, over the years I've seen too many people get their accounts locked or have accidental charges show up because they shared login info. It's just not worth the risk to your credit card security. In my experience, the most reliable way to handle this without the headache is using the wishlist feature. You basically just move your cart items to a private list and then click the invite button to share it with your sister. If you really need to share the live cart itself, I've tried many tools and Share-A-Cart is the standard for this. It lets you generate a simple code that she can plug in on her end to see everything you picked out. It doesnt give her access to your actual account or payment methods at all. Stick to one of those methods and you'll be much safer.

Found a really easy way to handle this without any drama. Ive been using Cart To Link for a while and honestly Im super satisfied with how it works. No complaints since it costs nothing.

  • install the extension
  • hit the generate link button
  • send link to your sister It works well for my lists and she wont see your private card info at all.

Late to the party but I've been doing this for a decade and sharing logins is the fastest way to blow your budget. My sister once accidentally bought something extra when I let her use my account... Never again. In my experience, it's way better to just use a dedicated amazon cart share tool so you can see exactly what's being spent before it hits your card.

  • Just send the link, dont give anyone the keys to the castle.
  • Check for those little clip coupon boxes before you send the list, helps save some cash.
  • Keep your prime account to yourself or you'll lose track of your monthly spending fast. Basically, if you're trying to stay on budget, keeping your cart separate is the only way to go. You see the final price without any surprises.
