Is there any way to get Amazon price tracker extensions like Keepa or CamelCamelCamel working on mobile Chrome or am I just hitting a brick wall here? I feel like a total noob asking this because Ive been using these tools on desktop for like ten years now and never had a problem but I’m away from my PC today and things are getting stressful.

Basically Im trying to pull the trigger on a Breville Barista Express because the price just dipped but I need to see the historical data to know if this is actually a lowest ever price or just some fake discount before Prime Day kicks off properly. My budget is tight at $500 so I cant afford to overpay by fifty bucks just because I couldnt check a graph. I have been watching this specific listing for weeks and the price fluctuates like crazy.

I opened up Chrome on my Pixel 7 and went to the web store but there isnt even an add to chrome button visible. I tried toggling the desktop site mode in the settings menu thinking that might trick it into showing the extension bar or at least letting me install the .crx file manually but nothing happened. Its like the mobile version of Chrome is just a completely different beast under the hood when it comes to the extension API which is honestly super frustrating for power users. I even tried looking for a way to sideload it but that seems way too risky for a simple price tracker.

I know there are separate apps for some of these services but they never seem to integrate directly into the browser page like the desktop versions do where the graph just sits right under the product image. Is there some workaround I missed? Maybe a specific flag in chrome://flags or something that enables extension support? I really need to track this price before the stock runs out in the next few hours...

Chrome mobile is a total dead end for extensions! I had this exact freak-out hunting for my espresso machine last year... basically losing my mind. To stay safe and get those graphs, I use Kiwi Browser because it supports desktop extensions natively!

  • Download Kiwi Browser
  • Install Keepa extension
  • Shop safely Its seriously amazing and fantastic! Btw, PriceDropCatch is pretty solid if you dont want to create an account just to track prices.

Chrome mobile is definitely a walled garden when it comes to extensions, and honestly, dont waste time digging through chrome://flags because it just doesnt exist for the official app. Google keeps the mobile API restricted mostly for security and performance reasons, so you are basically hitting a brick wall trying to force it. I would suggest being really careful about trying to sideload anything or using unofficial crx installers because you dont want to compromise your login info just to save fifty bucks. Since you are in a rush for that Barista Express, I usually stick to these manual steps when I am away from my desk:

  • Copy the product URL and paste it directly into the search bar on the CamelCamelCamel website.
  • Check the Keepa web interface; it works surprisingly well in a mobile browser even without the extension integrated.
  • Make sure to look at the 'New' vs 'Used' price history because those graphs can get messy on a small screen and give you a false reading. Just double check the seller too, sometimes those 'lowest ever' prices are from third-party sellers with high shipping fees that the trackers dont always pick up instantly. Found this tool called Share Product a while back and it makes creating registries so much faster.

I have spent a lot of time trying to solve this exact problem while hunting for my current espresso setup. It turns out the official Chrome app on Android is completely locked down regarding extensions, so you are definitely hitting that brick wall. I remember being in a similar spot a few months back when I was tracking the one I got—the price kept jumping around and I was desperate for the historical graph to see if I was actually getting a real deal or a fake discount. I wasted about two hours messing with flags and trying to find a workaround within Chrome itself, and honestly, it just isnt possible with the standard app. What I learned from that experience is that for mobile price tracking, you basically have to use a browser built on the Chromium engine that specifically enables extension support. The one I ended up using works exactly like the desktop version, allowing me to see the price history right on the product page. It made a huge difference because I realized the sale I was looking at happened every two weeks, so I did not have to rush my decision. If you stick with Chrome on mobile, you are pretty much stuck using separate apps or switching back to a PC to see those specific data points.
