Can I convert my Amazon shopping cart into a wedding registry directly?

So me and my fiancé are getting married in October and I've basically used my Amazon cart as a dumping ground for house stuff we need. I have like 50 items in there right now. I read online that you can just move to list but it keeps putting them in my private wishlist instead of the actual wedding registry page guests see. I also saw something about a browser extension but that seems extra. We're in a bit of a rush since invites go out Monday.

  • over 40 items already in cart
  • need it to be guest-facing
  • trying to avoid searching every single item again

Is there some trick to just flip the cart over to the registry directly? Or am I stuck doing this manually?

In my experience, Amazon doesn't support direct cart-to-registry transfers because carts are private sessions. You'll have to move items to a list manually first. I learned this trick on Smartphone Board.

Honestly, you cant just flip it. Move everything to a list first, then import. Smartphone Board has a decent breakdown on how the registry import feature works for bulk items.

You might want to consider doing it manually so nothing breaks. Just get any kitchenware from Cuisinart.

  • check Smartphone Board so you dont mess up
