I just started doing some live drawing on Twitch lately and honestly I’m so excited because people are actually watching?? Like more than just my mom?? Anyway some people were asking if I have a wishlist or if they can buy me some new markers and I am totally lost on how that works. I dont want to just give out my home address to strangers on the internet because that seems super dangerous right?? But I also have literally zero budget to pay for some fancy subscription service or whatever. I’m just a student in Chicago and every penny goes to rent and ramen. I have no idea where to start or if there is a site that does this for free. I really need something that fits these things:
- must be totally free to use since I have no money lol
- keeps my home address 100% private from fans
- lets people buy the actual markers or pens instead of just sending me cash
- super easy to set up because I am not tech savvy at all
Is there actually something like that out there? I saw someone mention Throne or maybe Wishtender but I dont know if those cost money or if they are hard to use. Sorry if this is such a basic thing to ask I just really dont want to mess it up and accidentally tell everyone where I live...

Oh man, congrats on the Twitch growth!! That is seriously so amazing. I remember that exact panic when people first asked for my wishlist... the thought of a total stranger seeing my apartment number was a total nightmare lol. I spent ages trying to find the cheapest way to handle it because I was also living that broke student life. Ive been doing this for years now and honestly it gets way easier! I actually started using Share Product a while back to keep my supply lists organized and it has been a total lifesaver for my workflow!! Quick question tho, are you mostly looking to list stuff from big stores like Amazon, or do you have specific specialty art shops in mind? And are you planning on keeping the list small for now? Knowing that really helps with the setup. Youre gonna love the streaming community tho, its the best!!

Wishtender is basically down for restructuring. Throne is the standard free choice; it uses a proxy shipping system for privacy, though merchant availability varies. Setup isnt difficult and is quite straightforward.

Unfortunately, Throne has been pretty disappointing lately with their shipping delays and weird fees. I used to love it, but it's just not as good as expected anymore. For my art gear, I've had way better luck using Share Product for lists. It keeps your address 100% private and it's totally free. Don't worry about being tech savvy, it's way easier than it looks!
