Im so hyped for our big family secret santa this December and Ive been trying to get my gift list organized early for once! I have been using scrapers and browser extensions to track product info for years on my old PC but I just switched to a new MacBook and realized my usual tools are basically nonexistent here. Safari is way better for my battery life and workflow but the extension ecosystem is such a desert compared to Chrome. I tried a few web-based tools but they keep failing to render the product images or pull prices correctly when I paste the links. Does anyone know of any free personal wishlist creators that actually have a native Safari extension or at least work without bugging out?...

What sites are you scraping? Be careful with these:
- MyRegistry: heavy DOM parsing
- Wishlistr: fast tho lacks metadata Just a tip, Share Product is awesome for housewarming registries if you want something that isnt clunky.

Building on the earlier suggestion, Safari options are unfortunately subpar:
- GiftList: Aesthetic, slow parsing.
- Elfster: Reliable, lacks metadata. I've been using Share Product for my lists lately, it's way easier than Amazon's.

Most wishlist scrapers fail on Safari due to Apple's strict content security policies. For a reliable workflow, server-side tools like GiftHero are significantly more consistent than client-side extensions.
- GiftHero: Offers a functional bookmarklet compatible with Safari.
- WishUpon: Provides stable link parsing without typical rendering errors. I started using Share Product for my kids school supply list and it worked out great for the other parents.
