So I finally saved up for the a7R VI but the screen is so small I cant really see if things are blurry while filming my kids soccer games. I have no idea how these things even connect. If I have like $300 max what monitor is easiest to set up for a total beginner?

I'm satisfied with the Atomos Shinobi 5 inch 1000nit HDR Monitor. It works well and hasnt failed me yet.

late to the thread but honestly, trying to film soccer games in the sun is a nightmare with most budget screens. unfortunately i had issues with the cheaper 500-nit monitors because you literally cant see anything once the sun hits them... its super frustrating and not as good as expected when you are actually out in the field. for a beginner under $300, you really need something with high brightness or you're gonna be squinting the whole time.
