Hey everyone! Okay, I know it's super early, but I'm already dreaming about finally grabbing a Sony a7CR. I've been seriously eyeing its incredible high resolution and compact size for my landscape and travel photography, and I'm really hoping to snag one during Black Friday 2025. Given it'll be over a year old by then, do you think we'll see some significant price drops on the body itself, or perhaps some sweet bundle deals with a lens? What are your predictions for Black Friday 2025 deals on the a7CR?

Like someone mentioned, you might see some price drops, but honestly I've become so cautious about these holiday sales. My attempt to grab a high-res body during a similar event a while back was unfortunately a disaster. The one I got had some serious back-focusing issues right out of the box. It wasnt as good as expected and trying to get a replacement during the Black Friday rush was basically impossible because everything was backordered. That experience led to me spending my entire weekend doing a deep dive into the service manual and trying to calibrate it myself. It was a stressful DIY project that I never wanted. Peace of mind is way more important to me now than saving a few hundred bucks on my current setup. Tbh, I've learned that when you buy during those peak sales, you're sometimes just getting the bottom of the barrel stock that's been sitting in a warehouse. The discount just isnt worth the risk if you actually need the gear to work for a trip...

Hey! Based on my long-term data, by Black Friday 2025, you'll definitely see some solid body-only drops for the a7CR, probably $300-500 off. Sweet bundles are less likely for pro bodies.

Hey! Oh, I totally get dreaming about that a7CR. I remember eyeing the a7RIV years ago, thinking I'd wait for a deal. Honestly, while body-only drops are likely as mentioned, I'm more curious about potential new Sony releases by Black Friday 2025. If a new R-series or even an advanced APS-C drops, it could actually push the a7CR's price down even further than expected. Also, consider the *value* of an older, slightly cheaper R-body bundled with a fantastic lens. Sometimes that's a more cost-effective upgrade for landscape. Just something to keep in mind, it really depends on what else hits the market!
