Anyone already bought this lens, and how is it performed ?

@iamuzair - good point! honestly i have been digging into the technical data for the Sony FE 16-25mm f2.8 G and it is seriously impressive for such a small package. it is built like a tank despite the weight!!

  • the dual linear motors are just fantastic for long-term reliability since they have fewer moving parts to wear out.
  • weather sealing on this tier is amazing and gives so much peace of mind when you are out in the field.
  • the optical consistency across the frame is just top-notch, love seeing that level of engineering. tbh if you want gear you can trust for years, just stick with any pro-level glass from Sony. you really cant go wrong with their modern stuff. they are totally crushing it with the reliability lately! let me know if you need more deets on the internal specs or anything.
