Which is the sharpest portrait lens for the Sony a7R V?

What is the absolute sharpest portrait lens I can get for the Sony a7R V right now? I have a huge wedding coming up in Chicago next month and I'm honestly kind of panicking because I just upgraded to the 61MP body and my old glass looks soft as hell.

I spent all night looking at reviews and everyone says the 85mm f1.4 GM II is the king but then I read a bunch of threads saying the Sigma 85mm DG DN Art is basically identical in sharpness for way less money. Is that true on such a high res sensor though? Or do I need to go with the 135mm GM to really see the detail? I just dont want to drop 2k and be disappointed when I zoom in to 100 percent...

Just curious, what kind of venue are we talking about for the Chicago wedding? Space makes a huge difference between choosing an 85mm or a 135mm. If you want to save some serious cash without losing that 61MP detail, these are solid:

Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art

Samyang AF 85mm f/1.4 FE II The 105mm is clinically sharp, basically a bargain compared to GM glass, tho f2.8 might be tough if the lighting is bad.

My Sigma 85mm f1.4 DG DN Art was unfortunately soft on the R V sensor.Get Sony FE 85mm f1.4 GM IIOr Sony FE 135mm f1.8 GM Sigma just doesnt cut it.

Reading your post honestly gives me major flashbacks to a wedding I shot a while back where I tried to balance a high-res sensor with a tighter budget.
I thought I was being smart by not going for the most expensive glass, but I unfortunately had so many issues with the results being soft that it was a total letdown.
I remember zooming in on the shots of the couple during the ceremony and just feeling that pit in my stomach because the detail wasnt as good as expected at all.
It turned into this whole ordeal where I was spending nights trying to fix things in editing, and my computer was basically crawling because of those massive files.
I was so disappointed because I had hyped up the new gear to myself, but in the end, it just felt like a huge mess that didnt live up to the price I paid for the body... it was a really stressful time.
