Here are some sample images of new announced FE 16-25mm f/2.8 G Lens, check below:
Quick reply while I have a sec... honestly those sample shots look pretty good. I've been looking for something lighter for my travel setup and the Sony FE 16-25mm f/2.8 G seems like a solid middle ground. It's way more affordable than the GM lenses but still gives you that f/2.8 which is nice for low light. I spent some time reading the technical breakdown on Phillip Reeve's site and the sharpness is surprisingly consistent for a compact lens. If you're looking for value, maybe check out the Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD since it's usually cheaper, but the autofocus on the Sony is gonna be more reliable for video. Ngl the 25mm long end is a bit short but for wide shots it probably wont matter much anyway... definitely a decent option if you dont want to break the bank.
Facts.
Thanks, this lens is a compact wide-angle lens for my FX3.
