so excited to finally speed up my ps4 pro but i have no clue what even fits inside the console or how this works lol. sorry if this is a dumb question!!
- budget is under $100
- buying it this weekend
- needs to be simple for a beginner
which one do i actually buy?

@Reply #2 - good point! you should grab the Crucial MX500 1TB 3D NAND SATA 2.5 Inch Internal SSD to save cash. its amazing value and youll love the faster boots!

just saw this... unfortunately the ps4 pro is still limited by its sata interface so it wont be as fast as you'd expect. kinda disappointing tbh. quick question tho, how much space do you actually need? if you want 1tb, i'd grab the Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SATA III SSD. i had issues with cheap budget drives before, so this is a much better alternative.

Honestly, just grab any SATA drive from WD or Crucial. They stay under budget and work fine, though you wont get maximum SSD speeds because the PS4 console has its own limits.
