Nowadays, fixed lens compact cameras are more and more popular, such as Fujifilm X100VI and Ricoh GR III. So when will Sony release the long-awaited RX2 full frame compact camera ?
Just saw news that RX1R II is discontinued, maybe we will see RX2 soon.
If Sony does release an RX2, it will be interesting to see what features and lens they choose. An updated 35mm f/2? A wider 28mm? IBIS? A tilt screen? There are a lot of possibilities. It would also surely come with a very premium price tag.

I'd prefer with 35mm f/2 lens.
@Annie Personally, I tend to prefer the 35mm focal length as I find it to be extremely versatile for a variety of shooting scenarios from portraits to street photography. However, the 28mm focal length produces uniquely stunning results for landscapes and environmental shots.
