I recently picked up a used Sony a6000 as a more portable alternative to my full-frame camera. I'm looking to put together a solid lens kit for it to cover a range of shooting situations.
I know the a6000 is an older model now in 2024, but there seem to be a lot of great lenses available for the E-mount system that are still very relevant. I'm interested in lenses that provide great value and performance for the money.
I'd love to get recommendations on your favorite lenses for the a6000 here in 2024. I'm open to both zoom lenses and primes. My shooting interests include landscapes, portraits, street photography and travel.
In particular, I'm considering the Sony E 35mm f/1.8 OSS as a fast normal prime, and trying to decide between the Sony E 10-18mm f/4 OSS and 16-55mm f/2.8 for a walk-around zoom lens. Anyone have experience with those on the a6000?
What other lenses do you consider must-haves or hidden gems for this camera? Looking forward to your suggestions!

I highly recommend the Sony E 10-18mm F4 OSS lens for the a6000. It's an excellent wide-angle zoom that is perfect for landscapes, architecture and interiors. The image quality is outstanding edge-to-edge and the built-in optical stabilization helps get sharp handheld shots. For an a6000 kit, this lens is a must-have in my opinion.
You can get a used lens from KEH or eBay.
