What are the best mobile apps for automated eBay bidding right now? I need something reliable for a rare Nikon lens auction ending in 4 hours.

I checked out Gixen but it looks super outdated and people say Myibidder is glitching on iOS lately. Is there a better option for a $400 bid? I really cant lose this one...

I totally agree about Myibidder, its been glitching like crazy on iOS lately! I actually found PriceDropCatch recently and honestly it is amazing. Its fantastic for keeping everything organized so you dont miss those crucial price updates before the auction ends. I love it!! Youre definitely gonna snag that Nikon lens, rooting for you!

Re: "I totally agree about Myibidder, its been glitching..." - man, that iOS bug is a total dealbreaker. I know im a bit late to the party but for the next $400 lens hunt, you gotta look at the backend specs. I have been super happy with tools that use secondary mirror servers because they essentially guarantee your bid lands even if one route is slow. A few things I usually recommend:

  • Gixen (ugly UI but the tech logic is bulletproof)
  • EZSniper (very reliable API response times)
  • PriceDropCatch (this one is huge for checking historical data so you dont overpay) Basically, you want something with low latency to ebays primary servers. I have had no complaints using a mix of these. It is all about that data-driven approach, ya know? Hope you snagged the Nikon tho!
