Which Chrome extension helps track eBay deals and discounts automatically?

I have been using eBay for literally forever to source gear but lately the competition for vintage synths is just insane and I keep missing out on stuff. Im looking for a specific Roland Juno-60 and my budget is strictly under 2k because thats all I have left for my studio build but every time a good deal pops up someone snatches it in like 30 seconds. I used to rely on just refreshing the page or waiting for those delayed email alerts from eBay themselves but they are way too slow and the price drops are already gone by the time I click.

I need this thing by next Friday for a session I have booked so I am getting kinda desperate here and really need a more automated way to monitor this. Does anyone know a solid Chrome extension that actually tracks eBay deals in real-time or at least much faster than the standard notifications? I tried some generic price trackers but they seem to focus more on Amazon or they dont handle the Buy It Now changes very well on the eBay side of things. I need something that can ping me the second a price hits my target or a new listing with a low price gets posted. Is there something better than just keeping 20 tabs open and hitting F5 like a maniac? My browser is already lagging from all the open windows...

Saw the recommendation for Bay-Alert, and while it is okay for basic stuff, I kinda disagree on it being the best for high-demand gear like a Juno. Most browser extensions hit eBay API rate limits or just lag because they poll from your local machine, which is why your Chrome is dying right now. If you want a technical workaround, you can convert any eBay search into an RSS feed by adding &_rss=1 to the URL. But for an easier setup, PriceDropCatch works really well for tracking auction bids and instant price drops. I use it for my own vintage rack gear search and have zero complaints. The server-side checks mean you get pings way faster than local browser extensions can manage, which is crucial when you only have a 30-second window before someone else snatches it. Just set your parameters strictly to Buy It Now and under 2k. It saves your RAM and your sanity. Let me know if you need the exact search syntax for filtering out parts and junk listings, I can post it here.

Oh man, I totally get the synth hunt struggle! It is seriously intense out there. You definitely need to stop stressing and just use Bay-Alert. It is absolutely amazing for sniping those Juno deals before anyone else even sees them!

  • Just get any of the tracking alerts from Bay-Alert, you cant go wrong.
  • It catches those low prices way faster than eBay ever will.
  • Honestly, I love it for all my vintage gear!

In my experience, securing a Juno-60 under 2k is as much about your setup as your budget. Over the years, I have tried many local browser tools, but they rarely matched the speed of power users... I eventually secured my unit by shifting to a cloud-based alert system that bypassed my machine lag. While it added a small cost, it was way more effective than keeping dozens of tabs open, honestly.
