I just started my lifestyle page a few months ago mostly focusing on cozy apartment vibes and diy decor and people keep dming me asking where I got my rug or my coffee mugs and I have literally no clue how to organize all these links. I feel so dumb even asking this because I see other girls with these really pretty shop pages in their bios but I dont know if they pay for those? Im just a college student in Chicago so I have like zero budget for a monthly subscription right now and I really need something that looks clean but is totally free.
I tried looking into LTK but it seemed really complicated to get approved and I just want something where I can put my favorite items in one spot so people can find them easily without me having to reply to every single message manually. I saw something about Benable and maybe Throne but I think Throne is for like getting gifts? I just want to list my favorites and maybe make it look aesthetic so it fits my brand. Im totally lost and everything I find on google looks like its for weddings or birthdays which isnt really what I need for a social media profile. Is there a specific free app that lifestyle influencers use that is easy for a total beginner to set up like yesterday?
Re: "Unfortunately, many free tools lack the data-driven features..." - totally agree, though for a beginner, simple is usually better. I've been really happy using Wishkit to organize my apartment decor links. It works well and I have no complaints about the UI. A couple technical tips:
Saw this earlier but just now responding. I totally get that stress. > Im just a college student in Chicago so I have like zero budget for a monthly subscription right now When I first started posting my apartment setups, I was honestly terrified of signing up for anything that might eventually hit my bank account. I have been really happy sticking to the free stuff that does not require a credit card upfront. It works well and I have no complaints about the simplicity. Like someone mentioned, you dont need those fancy paid versions to look professional. I actually used the Amazon wishlist creator for a long time to keep my rug and lamp links organized before I even tried more complex apps. It saved me so much money and my followers did not mind at all as long as they could find the items. Just focus on being consistent and you will be fine without a monthly sub... it is all about keeping it simple while you are still in school.
Unfortunately, many free tools lack the data-driven features or analytics needed to scale. I had issues with Benable because the customization and metadata control are disappointing, but it is the best entry-level choice for clean product lists.
