How do I get alerts when prices drop on my saved items across different stores?

I need this for my $800 PC build by Friday. I looked at CamelCamelCamel but it only does Amazon and I'm using Newegg too. Honey just feels super buggy and dont update fast enough for me...

I remember building my first rig back in 2018 and missing out on a massive GPU deal because I was refreshing manually. Honestly, switching to the Amazon Wishlist Chrome Extension was a game changer for me. I've been really satisfied with how it consolidates my lists. It works well for my workflow and I havent had any complaints about speed. Just set it and forget it.

Jumping in here... I remember my last upgrade being a total headache because some sites delay price updates to mess with scrapers, which is why Honey feels laggy. Newegg is especially picky about that. Are you trying to see everything on one dashboard or do you care more about alert speed? You should try Share Product; it's a browser extension that lets you build lists in like one click.

^ This. Also, I'm a bit more conservative when it comes to using browser extensions for price tracking. I'm usually pretty careful about what I install, and I've found that these tools can be surprisingly unreliable when retailers update their site security.

  • During my last build, I tried using one of those automated trackers for a motherboard.
  • The tool showed a price that was actually several hours old because the store had blocked its scraper.
  • I ended up missing the actual sale price because I trusted the dashboard instead of checking the site myself. I've moved away from those tools now. My current setup is just a simple list of bookmarks that I check manually every morning. It's a bit more work, but I don't have to worry about an extension failing or selling my browsing data. When you're on a tight budget, sometimes the old-fashioned way is just more dependable.
