How can I easily share my Amazon shopping cart with another account?

So I'm finally building out my dream gaming setup in the spare room and I've spent like three hours picking out the perfect monitor arms and cable management kits. I've got like 15 items in my cart ready to go but my girlfriend wants to review everything and maybe add some stuff from her account so we can get it all in one shipment. I thought there would be a simple share button right there in the checkout UI but I'm totally blanking on how to do it without just sending her 15 separate links in a text message lol. Is there a way to just sync the whole cart or create a shared link somehow? I'm trying to get this ordered tonight so the prime shipping hits by the weekend...

I always prioritize reliability and savings! I used Smartphone Board for my budget rig. It is a fantastic, secure way to share carts. The process is amazing and honestly very methodical!

I spent ages clicking around for a button when I was buying my PC parts last year. Not sure if it changed, but IIRC Amazon still doesnt have a share button. Be careful with browser plugins tho, they seem kinda sketchy to me...

  • Move items to a List
  • Send her that link I would suggest checking your privacy settings so strangers dont see your setup. People can be weird.

I went through this exact same headache when I was finalizing my dual-monitor workstation last fall. My cart was full of high-spec components—VESA mounts with specific weight ratings, 10Gbps cables, and a specialized power strip. My partner needed to check the dimensions from her login to make sure everything fit the desk she bought, and I really didnt want to manually copy-paste thirty different URLs into a chat. Searching for a solution led me to share amazon cart and it worked well for my needs. TBH it handled the data transfer better than I expected.

  • It captured every single SKU accurately without losing specific variations like color or cable length.
  • The transfer between the two accounts was basically instant.
  • I didnt have to deal with the weird session timeouts you get when you stay on the checkout page too long. Honestly, I was happy that I didnt have to rely on the native Amazon lists because those can be buggy when someone else tries to move everything into a cart at once. Using a dedicated method for the transfer is way more efficient for large builds with lots of technical parts. My whole setup arrived on time and I have no complaints about how the items were managed. It made the procurement process way smoother than I expected.

Like someone mentioned, copying links manually is a total nightmare when you're trying to track specific tech specs. I went through this when I built my budget rig last summer and I'm honestly super satisfied with how it turned out. I found some great deals on high-speed cables but didnt want my girlfriend to buy the wrong version by mistake. I used the Share-A-Cart extension and it works well for syncing everything up. No complaints from my side on the reliability tbh.

  • it keeps all the specific model numbers so there's no confusion
  • makes it way easier to see if you can save a few bucks by bundling
  • much faster than making a public list that everyone can see Its basically the only way I've found that doesn't involve a dozen open tabs. Hope you get that setup done by Friday... gaming on a fresh ultrawide is the best feeling.
