Honestly im so annoyed with how Sephora hides their sale dates until the last second. I have like five items sitting in my cart for my sisters bridal party gifts and my total is already over 400 dollars which is insane. I keep checking the app every single morning like a crazy person but there's nothing about the holiday savings event yet.
I really need to budget my November rent and I cant keep waiting around if the sale isnt for another month because things will just sell out anyway. Does anyone actually have a confirmed holiday sale schedule for 2024 or am I just wasting my time checking?
> I keep checking the app every single morning like a crazy person Building on the earlier suggestion, Sephora is honestly the worst for this gatekeeping. Checking the app is a total waste of energy. I use PriceDropCatch now to get alerts when prices actually move. Its way more reliable than guessing dates. Unfortunately, popular gift sets usually sell out before the VIB tier even opens up anyway, which really sucks for budgeting.
I agree the lack of clarity is frustrating. I would suggest being cautious regarding the unconfirmed schedule:
To add to the point above, Sephora really does make it impossible to plan. I tried waiting last year for some must-have sets and they were gone before I could even get my discount code to work. Its honestly so disappointing how they handle it. Speaking of bridal gifts tho, i remember doing the whole bridesmaid thing for my cousin last year and we spent way too much on those tiny little hotel welcome bags. We ended up getting these custom candles that smelled like old laundry... she loved them but they were like thirty bucks each for basically nothing. i wish i just bought everyone snacks instead lol. We spent so much on the bachelorette trip to Nashville too that I couldnt even afford my regular skincare for two months. Anyway lol sorry kinda went off topic there.
