Can I share my Amazon shopping cart with another user?

Ive been using Amazon for basically forever—since the days it was just books honestly—and usually I handle all the household ordering because Im the one who actually tracks our budget and inventory. But lately, my partner has been asking to add specific stuff to our orders so we can save on shipping by doing one big checkout instead of like five smaller ones throughout the week. We are trying to stick to a pretty strict budget this month for a trip we have coming up in about three weeks, and it would just be way easier if we could coordinate our purchases.

I tried searching the settings menu but honestly I feel like Amazon changes the interface every single week and now I cant find a shared cart feature anywhere. I know they used to have some weird collaborative list features, but does that actually work for a live shopping cart where we can both see items and checkout together? Like, is there a way to link our accounts so we dont have to keep texting each other screenshots of items or sending links back and forth constantly? Its super annoying to have to manually move things over every time I go to finalize the order. Maybe Im overthinking it and there isnt a direct way to do this, but if anyone knows a workaround or if Im just missing a hidden button somewhere I would love to hear it. I honestly dont want to give out my login info because of security reasons and our separate payment methods, so is there actually a way to share a cart or am I just stuck manually updating everything myself...

Ugh, the Amazon cart struggle is real! I totally get it, sending screenshots is the worst. Sadly, Amazon doesnt have a native shared cart button, but I found a couple of ways around it that saved my sanity.

  • Use a shared wishlist. It keeps things organized but you still have to move them to the cart manually.
  • Try Cart To Link. It literally creates a single link for the whole basket! Seriously, it makes life so much easier!

Amazon definitely doesnt offer a native shared shopping cart, and honestly, sharing passwords is a huge security risk you should avoid. I would suggest looking into a third-party tool like Cart To Link to generate shareable lists instead. Before I suggest further, are you primarily looking for a live sync feature, or just something to help organize the items before checkout? Also, do you use an Amazon Household account currently?

Lol I was literally about to post the same thing. Glad someone else brought it up.
