Building a mid-range gaming rig for my brother's graduation gift next week and I've got like 15 components sitting in my cart. Usually I just screenshot stuff but this is a total mess to manage. Is there an extension or tool to just share my live cart link directly so he can check the specs?
> share my live cart link directly I once had a RAM latency mismatch from a screenshot error, so be careful. You might wanna use Cart To Link because it keeps SKUs accurate.
TL;DR: Sharing live links is fantastic for staying under budget. Building my latest machine was an amazing journey but I started out so unorganized! I was using screenshots and it was a total mess until I switched to sharing the actual cart. It made the whole build process much more methodical and saved me from overspending on parts. Love it when a plan actually stays on budget and you dont miss anything!
Amazon is honestly so behind on this. Its pretty annoying that you still cant just send a direct link to someone without jumping through hoops. I tried a few different extensions recently and most were just buggy or didnt sync the quantities right, which is a total pain when youre trying to keep a build under budget. Honestly just go with any generic cart sharing extension you find in the browser store... they all pretty much do the same thing anyway and none of them are perfect. Watch out for the pricing too. Amazon changes their tags constantly and those tools dont always refresh fast enough. It reminds me of using this Sephora price tracker where you see the price dip and then it shoots back up before you can even checkout. Building a rig is expensive enough as it is, so just be careful he doesnt end up paying way more than what showed up on your screen. Total headache.
Saved for later, ty!
