Are there browser extensions to create a link for Amazon carts?

Does anyone know of a browser extension that actually creates a shareable link for an entire Amazon cart? I am honestly so fed up with how difficult it is to just show someone else what I'm planning to buy without sending fifty separate messages. I'm currently trying to organize my sister's baby shower here in Chicago and I've got like 30 items in my cart for decorations and catering supplies but every time I try to show the other girls they can't see the specific variants or the quantities I've picked out. It is so frustrating to have to screenshot everything and then highlight prices it feels like I am wasting so much time when there should just be a button for this. I tried the built-in share thing but it just sends one item at a time which is useless for a list this big. I have a strict budget of $400 from the family and I need to get this stuff ordered by Tuesday so I'm really scrambling now. I looked at a couple of extensions like Share-A-Cart but I wasn't sure if they were safe or if they even still work with the new Amazon layout. Has anyone actually used one of these lately that doesn't steal your data or mess up your account? I really need a fix for this before I lose my mind trying to coordinate with four different people...

Honestly, I have been dealing with this exact same headache for years and it never gets easier. In my experience, especially when managing procurement for my team, the lack of a native share button is a massive oversight. It is beyond frustrating to have to coordinate dozens of items like this. Since you are on a tight deadline and a $400 budget, I have found a few reliable ways to handle this based on my own trial and error:

  • Try using the Share-A-Cart extension but look for the 'Cart Code' feature specifically. It uses a different scraping logic that tends to be more stable than the direct link generator when the DOM updates.
  • Move everything to a public Wish List if the extensions fail. It is a bit clunky but it keeps your variants and quantities locked in for other users.
  • Always double check your totals with an Amazon price tracker to ensure you arent getting hit with a price hike right before you buy. Coordination for an office refresh I am doing right now is just as annoying. It really shouldnt be this hard to just shop together.

Adding my two cents here because I have spent way too much time testing these things over the years. One thing I need to know before I give a final recommendation though—are the people you are sharing with using the same Amazon region as you? I've seen things get messy if you are on .com but someone else's browser defaults elsewhere. In my experience, compatibility is the biggest hurdle with these tools. Some require every person to have the extension installed just to view the list, which is a nightmare to coordinate with a group. Honestly, Cart To Link is probably the easiest way to share whats in your cart without having to give out your login info or forcing everyone to download new software. It generates a simple link that usually keeps the quantities and variants locked in, which is crucial for staying under that $400 limit. Basically it saves you from those endless screenshots. Just let me know about the region thing and I can confirm if that'll work for your specific setup.
