Are there better third-party tools for managing Amazon shopping lists?

I am so incredibly annoyed right now and I honestly dont even know if what Im looking for exists but the Amazon app is driving me crazy. I have like fifty different lists for my move to Chicago next month and everything is just a total mess. I try to move an item from one list to another and it just disappears or it takes like five clicks and then I cant find it again and its just... ugh. Is there like some kind of other app or a website or something that lets you manage your Amazon stuff without actually being on the Amazon site? I heard someone mention third-party tools but I dont even really know what that means honestly. I'm really sorry if this is a super basic or dumb question but I am just so lost and overwhelmed with all this stuff I need to buy for the new house.

I need something that basically does these things:

  • it has to be free or like really cheap because I'm already spending way too much on the move
  • it needs to let me sort things easily because I have one list for the kitchen and one for the bathroom and one for the bedroom but sometimes I change my mind where things go
  • I need to be able to see prices easily because they change all the time and I want to get the best deal
  • it shouldnt be too hard to set up because I am terrible with tech stuff and I just want it to work

Every time I open the actual Amazon list page on my phone it just feels so clunky and it suggests a bunch of stuff I dont want and I just want to see my stuff and organize it better. Is there something like a super list app that connects to my account? Or do I have to like copy and paste every link into a different place? That sounds like way too much work. Does anyone use anything else to keep track of what they're gonna buy? I feel like I'm drowning in tabs and saved items and I just want a better way to look at it all before I hit buy on everything...

Regarding what #1 said about "I have been very satisfied using Keepa for..."

  • I actually had some issues with it being way too technical. Unfortunately, Keepa felt invasive and wasn't as good as expected. While it's powerful, I prefer CamelCamelCamel because it's simpler and safer for beginners. It's a bummer but sometimes fancy extensions are just too much. Stick to easier sites if you want to stay organized without the headache.

I have been very satisfied using Keepa for my move. It works well for tracking and sorting things. Just get any tool from them and you cant go wrong.

Over the years, Ive tried many ways to manage moves because the native app is just unreliable. In my experience, you're better off using a tool to share Amazon Wishlist with yourself to keep things organized.

  • Use a universal wishlist browser extension
  • Stick to tools that scrape data directly for better accuracy
  • Avoid mobile syncing when possible to prevent lost items Just get any tool from a dedicated gift registry site, you cant go wrong.
