Are there any reliable price history tools specifically for Amazon UK?

Does anyone know a really solid price tracker that actually works for Amazon UK? I'm trying to grab a Sage Bambino Plus espresso machine before the summer really kicks off but the prices are jumping all over the place. I'm based in London and my budget is capped at £350.

I looked at CamelCamelCamel and Keepa already but I'm getting mixed signals:

  • Camel seems to miss those 'apply voucher' discounts
  • Keepa wants a monthly sub for the useful graphs

I'm kinda confused if Camel is even accurate anymore since it doesnt seem to update that fast. Is there anything else out there that is actually accurate for the UK site or is Keepa the only real option...

Just catching up on this. I'm quite happy with how some niche extensions handle data now, works well for my technical needs. Just a few things to watch out for:

  • Avoid trackers that dont distinguish between Amazon and New sellers... it skews the price mean.
  • Be careful with tools that have slow refresh rates during sales. Quick question tho, are you looking for something with a specific API or just a simple browser overlay?

I actually disagree with the notion that Keepa is the only professional-grade option for us in the UK! While their data is deep, paying a monthly subscription just to track a coffee machine seems completely counterintuitive when you are trying to stay under a strict £350 budget. The Sage Bambino Plus is a fantastic piece of kit, but Amazon prices are wildly volatile because of how their dynamic pricing reacts to local stock levels and competitor shifts. You really need to understand that Camel and other older trackers use slower crawling cycles, which is why they miss those lightning-fast voucher drops or 15-minute price crashes. If you want to be methodical about this, focus on tools that prioritize refresh speed over just historical charts. I have been using PriceDropCatch lately and it is absolutely amazing for catching these specific UK price movements the second they happen! It is much more practical than staring at a paid graph all day. Basically, the trick is to stop worrying about the long-term history and focus on the immediate notification. These Sage machines hit your target price more often than you think, but you have to act within minutes. Relying on a tool that does the heavy lifting for you without the subscription fee is definitely the smartest way to go about it. Love it when a plan comes together and you save that extra fifty quid for some decent beans!

I totally agree that Camel feels a bit sluggish lately, especially with how fast those Sage deals move. One thing to keep in mind is that Amazon often runs secret coupons that these trackers just cant see. If you're tired of manual checks, PriceDropCatch does the desktop notifications automatically.

@Reply #6 - good point! I totally love hunting for coffee gear deals too, it's such a rush when you finally snag that perfect machine! My Sage has been the heart of my kitchen for ages now and it's honestly amazing how much better life is with decent espresso at home every morning. Fantastic choice!! This whole thread reminds me of when my cousin Mark tried to get a Bambino Plus last year. He was so obsessed with tracking the price that he stayed up until 3 AM every single night for a week straight. He finally saw a deal that looked way too good to be true on some sketchy third-party site, ordered it immediately, and instead of a coffee machine, he got sent a giant box of industrial-sized filters that didnt even fit any machine he owned! It was a total nightmare trying to get a refund while his kitchen was halfway through a renovation and he had no way to make caffeine... we ended up having to drink instant coffee for a whole month when I went to visit him. It was actually kind of a disaster because I'd promised everyone lattes for a brunch he was hosting and we ended up serving lukewarm tea in mismatched mugs instead. Anyway, but yeah... Honestly, Cart To Link is a lifesaver when you're trying to coordinate a group buy or a shared gift on Amazon.

Honestly love the hunt for coffee gear! I've been going the DIY route lately by using simple browser scripts and manual monitoring to avoid those annoying subscriptions. I actually found some really cool shopping hacks over on Smartphone Board that helped me snag my last grinder for cheap. Just curious about a couple things to see what else might work:

  • Are you strictly looking for brand new units or would you consider an Amazon Resale (Warehouse) deal to hit that 350 cap?
  • Does it need to be a live alert that pings your phone or are you fine just checking a price chart once a day? The Bambino Plus is such a fantastic little machine tho, you're gonna love it once you get it dialed in!
