I recently purchased a Sony a7S III and am looking for recommendations on the best memory card to use. I primarily shoot high-resolution 4K video and need a card that can handle the high bitrates and provide reliable performance. Speed and capacity are my main concerns. What brands and models have you found to be the most reliable and efficient for this camera? Any specific recommendations or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Sony a7S III supports CFexpress Type-A and UHS-II SD cards.

Some good options to consider:

These CFexpress Type A cards offer read speeds up to 900MB/s and write speeds up to 800MB/s. This will enable you to record high-quality 4K video at high frame rates with the a7sIII without any buffering issues.

If you prefer to use SD cards, make sure to get a fast UHS-II card with V60 or V90 video speed rating to keep up with the high bitrates. Some good SD card options:

I use Nextorage CFexpress Type a card, much cheaper than Sony and Lexar versions.
