I'm looking to upgrade my photography gear and move to a full-frame Sony E-mount camera. However, I'm on a tight budget and want to make the most of my investment. I'm interested in shooting a variety of subjects, including landscapes, portraits, and street photography.
What would you recommend as the best affordable E-mount lenses for a full-frame camera? I'm open to both prime and zoom lenses. I'd prefer to keep the price under $500 per lens if possible.
I've heard good things about the Sony FE 50mm f/1.8, Samyang 35mm f/2.8, and Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8. Do you have any experience with these lenses or other budget-friendly options?
If you're looking for an affordable yet high-quality full frame E-mount lens, I highly recommend the Rokinon 35mm f/2.8 FE. It's a compact prime lens that delivers amazingly sharp images. The f/2.8 aperture is great for low light situations and provides a shallow depth of field for nice bokeh. Best of all, it's very budget-friendly at around $250. I've been using it on my Sony A7III and couldn't be happier!
@Reply #2 - good point! I actually bought something similar a while back hoping it would be my new go-to. Unfortunately, it didnt quite live up to the hype for me.
