I love the FE 200-600mm lens

Re: "The FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens is..." - thats a killer zoom, but for pure technical specs, I think the Sony FE 50mm f/1.2 GM is the king. Ive had it for over a year and the edge-to-edge sharpness even wide open is pretty mind blowing. A few technical bits that make it worth it:

• Four XD linear motors provide really high thrust for fast AF tracking
• The 11-blade circular aperture creates very soft, natural bokeh
• Weather sealing is top notch, survived plenty of dusty shoots Its definitely heavier than the f/1.8 at about 778g, but for that f/1.2 aperture, the size is actually relatively compact. If you can swing the $1,900 cost, it delivers some of the best data-driven results in the E-mount ecosystem. If you want more specifics on the chromatic aberration control or flare resistance, just ask.

My best lens: Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM II Lens

For Sony Alpha cameras, one of my favorite lenses is the Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS. It's a versatile zoom range that's great for everything from landscapes to portraits. The image quality is superb, with excellent sharpness and beautiful rendering. The f/4 maximum aperture isn't as bright as some primes, but it's more than adequate for most situations. And the lens has optical stabilization which is a big plus when shooting handheld.

Another fantastic option is the Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM for ultra-wide to wide-angle needs. It's incredibly sharp, has minimal distortion, and that f/2.8 aperture allows for great low-light performance and subject isolation. The build quality is also second to none - it's built like a tank. Pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

For primes, you can't go wrong with the Sony FE 85mm f/1.8. It's relatively affordable, tack sharp, and that f/1.8 aperture is great for beautiful subject separation and low light use. The rendering is absolutely sublime.
