What are the best Black Friday 2025 deals you’ve seen on Sony FE lenses so far? I’m mainly interested in full-frame primes and standard zooms (like 24-70mm or 35mm/50mm primes), but I’m open to telephoto bargains too. Are there standout discounts from B&H, Adorama, Amazon, or local camera stores? Please share specific lens models, prices, and where you found them so others can benefit too.

> Are there standout discounts from B&H, Adorama, Amazon, or local camera stores? Honestly, I've tried many different lens setups over the years and the biggest thing I've learned is that the best deal isn't always just about the lowest price tag. Like someone mentioned, third-party stuff is super tempting, but you really gotta watch out for technical compatibility. I remember grabbing a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD a while back during a holiday sale. Total steal, but the AF was hunting like crazy on my newer body until I realized the firmware was ancient. If you're hunting for the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG DN Art this Black Friday, just keep in mind you might need to update it for the best tracking. Sometimes those boxes at big retailers have been sitting a while. It's a bit of a headache if you don't have a dock. Tbh, I'm mostly watching for the Sony FE 85mm f/1.8 to hit a new low. It's such a budget beast and the optics are surprisingly sharp for the price point. Technical specs usually tell a better story than the brand name when you're trying to save cash... anyway, just make sure you check those compatibility charts before you buy.

Hey! Already planning for Black Friday 2025, I love the dedication! I've got a bit of experience with Sony FE lenses and Black Friday deals. I would suggest really keeping an eye on Greentoe. I snagged my 85mm f/1.8 there a few years back for significantly under retail; like, almost 30% off! Be careful though, their prices fluctuate a LOT, so check it daily in the weeks leading up to Black Friday. It's a bit of a gamble, but I think it's worth it for the potential savings on the 85mm you mentioned. Hope this helps, and good luck lens hunting!

Hey there! Black Friday lens hunting is a serious game, I get it! While everyone else is eyeing the shiny new G-Masters (and the previous replies are right about the older lens strategy!), let's talk about maximizing your budget and getting the most *bang for your buck* on Black Friday 2025. It's easy to get caught up in the hype.

Instead of just focusing on *specific* lenses right now (because prices can fluctuate wildly!), I'd suggest setting a firm budget and then looking for the best deals *within* that range. For example, decide if your absolute max spend is $800, $1200, or whatever. Then, when the sales start, you can quickly compare lenses in that price bracket regardless of the specific model you originally had in mind. This flexibility can often lead you to a better deal on a lens that's *almost* as good as your dream lens.

Here's why this works: Retailers often discount based on inventory and sales goals, not necessarily on what's 'best.' A slightly less popular lens, or one that's been sitting on shelves longer, might have a steeper discount than the super popular 85mm f/1.8, even if the 85mm is what everyone wants. Also, consider looking at refurbished options directly from Sony or reputable retailers like Adorama or B&H. They often come with a warranty and can save you a substantial amount.

Personally, I did this a few years ago when I was looking for a wide-angle. I *thought* I wanted the 16-35mm GM, but I ended up snagging a refurbished Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 for half the price, and it's been fantastic for my needs. It wasn't *exactly* what I planned, but the value was undeniable. Good luck, and happy hunting! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey! Black Friday planning already? Awesome! Everyone's going after those well-known lenses, which can make finding the *really* good deals tough. Instead of *just* those, consider looking at slightly older but still fantastic lenses – maybe a used Sony/Zeiss 55mm f/1.8. Optically, it's superb, super sharp, and often overlooked because it's not a G Master.

Black Friday is also a good time to check out third-party lenses from Sigma or Tamron. Their Sony FE mount lenses have gotten ridiculously good lately. I've been really happy with my Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 – paid about $700 for it new a couple of years back, and it keeps up with my GM lenses no problem! Plus, sometimes retailers offer bundle deals on less popular lenses that are still diamonds in the rough. Good luck with the hunt next year – let me know if you want some more under-the-radar lens recommendations!

Hey! Black Friday lens planning is intense, I get it! Instead of *only* focusing on Sony, might want to consider Sigma or Tamron's FE mount lenses. They often have comparable image quality at lower prices, and Black Friday deals could make them steals! For example, the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art is often priced competitively against the Sony G Master. I'd suggest comparing specs on sites like DPReview. Just be careful and check compatibility with your camera body before you buy. Good luck!

Hey! Black Friday lens hunting, huh? Exciting, but let's talk safety first! In my experience, *always* double-check the retailer's return policy and warranty *before* you buy, especially on those 'too good to be true' deals. Over the years, I've seen grey market lenses pop up during Black Friday, and they often lack manufacturer support. I've tried many camera stores, and I've found sticking with authorized dealers like B&H or Adorama gives you the best protection. Don't let the hype rush you into a purchase you'll regret! Feel free to ask if you want more details on spotting grey market items!
