I've been eyeing the Sony FX30 for content creation and wondering if anyone's spotted good Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals yet? Black Friday officially starts November 28th with the deepest camera discounts of the year. Should I grab the current deals or wait? Any insider tips on where to find the best FX30 pricing? Also considering renewed/used options if the savings are significant. Thanks for any advice!
Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals now live at Amazon, B&H Photo Video, Adorama. It is $300 off right now.
You can get price drop alert at WhenPriceDrop.com. They will send you email when price dropped.

Honestly, Black Friday officially starts November 28th but many retailers start early deals a week or two before. I'd say grab the current deals if you need it now. The FX30 has already dropped significantly from launch - positioned between Sony's hybrid models and cinema line, now at entry-level filmmaker prices.
TIL! Thanks for sharing
> I got my FX30 at Amazon. Love it. Glad u like it! I'm thinking about pulling the trigger too but I'm a bit nervous about the actual performance under pressure. Tbh I'm a total beginner so I'm probably overthinking it, but I heard somewhere—maybe on a forum?—that some units can get pretty warm if youre shooting 4K for a long time. Not sure but IIRC you should probably test the fan settings right away to make sure it doesnt ruin ur audio. I mean, better to be safe than sorry with a big purchase like this. Basically, if you find a good deal, just make sure to stress test it before the return window closes. Does anyone know if there are specific benchmarks I should run to make sure the sensor is 100%? Just dont want to get a lemon lol.
Nice, didn't know that
