I'm looking to upgrade my camera and have narrowed it down to two options: the Sony a6700 and the Sony ZV-E10.
From what I've gathered, both cameras seem to have impressive features. The a6700 is a well-rounded camera with a 24.2MP APS-C sensor, 4K video, and a compact body. On the other hand, the ZV-E10 is specifically designed for vlogging and content creation, with a fully articulating screen, excellent autofocus, and a built-in directional microphone.
I'm primarily interested in creating YouTube content, including vlogs, tutorials, and some short films. I also enjoy photography as a hobby, particularly landscapes and portraits. Both cameras fall within my budget, but I'm unsure which one would best suit my needs.
If you have experience with either of these cameras or have insights to share, I'd greatly appreciate your input. What are the key differences between the a6700 and the ZV-E10? Which one would you recommend for my specific use case? Are there any crucial factors I should consider before making my decision?
Having used both the Sony a6700 and ZV-E10, I'd say they are both great cameras but suited for different purposes. The a6700 is a more advanced interchangeable lens APS-C mirrorless camera with a built-in electronic viewfinder, making it better for all-around photography and videography. The ZV-E10 on the other hand is specifically designed for vlogging and content creation. It has a compact body, flip-out screen, and some optimized features for single-person video shooting. So it really depends on your main intended use case. For pure vlogging, I'd lean towards the ZV-E10, but for more versatility, the a6700 is the way to go.
Sony ZV-E10 is mainly designed for vloggers, which a6700 is designed for both photography and videography.
