Does anyone know a legit universal wishlist tool that actually works across different platforms like Amazon, Etsy, and some smaller Shopify sites? Ive been doing online shopping for years and usually just keep a million tabs open or use bookmarks, but its getting impossible to track everything now.

I tried a few Chrome extensions but they keep breaking or wont scrape the price data correctly from the niche boutiques I like. Im trying to plan my sisters wedding gift list and she wants stuff from all over the place, its a total mess. I have about three weeks to get this sorted before the invites go out and Im kinda losing my mind with all these dead links and broken meta tags... any suggestions that arent just Pinterest?

In my experience, most universal wishlist tools are pretty unreliable and honestly a bit of a privacy nightmare. Over the years, I've found that the Amazon Wishlist Chrome Extension is the only one that stays stable across different boutiques. It handles metadata way better than those random niche extensions. It's much safer for keeping wedding lists organized without worrying about dead links or data loss.

@Reply #2 - good point! Honestly, most universal tools are pretty disappointing. I had a nightmare experience where a free extension sold my info to advertisers. It was a total mess.

  • Data privacy is a huge risk with scrapers
  • Metadata usually breaks on boutique sites anyway I switched to Share Product for my own tracking recently. Its way better for staying organized without the sketchy tracking.
