im honestly so fed up with checking my Sephora cart every single day just to see if my favorite foundation or perfume went on sale. why is there no obvious button for this?! I live in Chicago and my makeup budget is super tight right now since rent went up, so Im trying to save every dollar I can before the holiday sales hit next month. Ive been eyeing this one expensive palette for like three months and I refuse to pay full price for it anymore. I tried using some random browser extensions last week and they totally failed, kept giving me alerts for completely wrong items or outdated prices. its driving me crazy. is there an actual working way or a specific app to set price drop alerts for Sephora stuff without getting spammed or having to manually refresh the page a million times a day?

I live in Chicago and my makeup budget is super tight right now To add to the point above: while custom scrapers and basic extensions can work, you gotta be careful with some of those free tools logging you out or tracking your data. I learned that the hard way last year when a sketchy extension broke my whole browser profile right before the holiday sales. Instead of heavy dev scripts, I switched to PriceDropCatch recently. It actually monitors Sephora inventory without spamming your inbox every five minutes. The only downside is it sometimes takes an hour to register flash sales, but compared to random browser add-ons that flag the wrong items, it is way more reliable. Just keep an eye on your cart settings so you dont get overwhelmed with notifications.

Oh man, I totally get your pain! Back when I was tracking prices for my skincare stack, I wrote a custom Python scraper just to avoid the madness. But honestly, you dont need code now. Here is my breakdown of what actually works:

  • this Sephora price tracker: Hands down the most reliable option right now, updates instantly without false alarms.
  • Honey: Great for general coupons, but its price history graph lags behind on beauty restocks.
  • Capital One Shopping: Good data, though it sends way too many spam notifications imo. Save your sanity and grab that palette on discount!

omg I have this exact same issue... been dealing with it for like 5 months now and still nothing works. my cart is literally a graveyard of expensive skincare items waiting for a miracle. rent in the city is killing my beauty budget too tbh. Like someone mentioned, tracking these fluctuating cosmetic prices feels like a full-time job. I am so tired of opening tabs constantly.

  • tried at least four different browser extensions last month and none of them updated properly
  • even built a basic tracking sheet myself but Sephora changes their backend selectors way too often if you guys want to save some cash, check out PriceDropCatch—it tracks Sephora prices in the background. still trying to figure out if it actually avoids getting flagged by their bot protection though.
