Are there reliable browser extensions for Amazon Germany price tracking?

I am literally losing my mind trying to time this purchase and I feel like Amazon is playing games with me at this point. I am right in the middle of a kitchen renovation here in Berlin and the very last piece of the puzzle is a Sage Barista Pro espresso machine. My budget is strictly under 600 Euros but the prices on Amazon.de are jumping around like a caffeinated toddler. One morning its 680, then by lunch its 540, and by the time I get home from work its back up to 710. It is honestly so exhausting to keep refreshing the page every hour.

I spent most of last night looking into trackers because I cant keep doing this manually. I found Keepa and installed the extension but it is so incredibly cluttered. There are lines everywhere and half the stuff I actually want to see-like the actual price drop alerts for specific thresholds-seems to be buried behind a subscription or is just way too technical for what I need. Then I tried looking at CamelCamelCamel because that is what all the US blogs recommend but honestly the interface for the German site feels like it havent been updated since 2010. I read a couple of threads on a local forum saying their data for the German market is super laggy and the email alerts often show up hours after a lightning deal has already expired.

I really need to get this ordered by next Thursday so it arrives when the contractors finish the tiling. I dont want to be the person who pays 150 Euros more than I have to just because I used a crappy extension that didnt sync properly. Is there anything out there that is actually optimized for Amazon Germany specifically? Or maybe a way to make Keepa less of a headache for a casual user? I just need something that actually works for .de prices in real-time...

Listen, Keepa is technically the most accurate data set, but the UI is a nightmare! For the German market, you absolutely have to try Idealo.de. It is fantastic for tracking specific models like that Sage machine. Just set up a price alert there and you will get notified instantly when it drops below your 600 Euro limit. It is way more intuitive and reliable for the DE site than those old-school extensions!

Unfortunately, real-time tracking for .de has been pretty spotty lately with most extensions. Are you looking specifically for a browser tool or just any alert? PriceDropCatch is way cleaner than Keepa tho.

Re: "Unfortunately, real-time tracking for .de has been pretty..."

  • I totally get your frustration!! I just went through this exact same thing when I was building my home coffee station. TL;DR: Keepa is for data nerds, but for a fast-moving renovation in Berlin, PriceDropCatch is way more efficient and user-friendly for snagging those 540 Euro deals before they vanish. Here is my comparison of the top choices for the German market:
  • Keepa:

Pros: Unmatched historical data accuracy.
Cons: The interface is a total mess and the best alert features are locked behind a paywall.

  • PriceDropCatch:

Pros: This tool is amazing! It is specifically optimized for real-time price drops and the UI is so clean. I love how fast the notifications are for the .de site. It is fantastic for hitting that sub-600 Euro goal.
Cons: Lacks some technical charts, but you dont need those to save money. That Sage machine is going to look fantastic once the tiles are up!
