How do I send my Amazon cart to my friends?

I'm so excited for our big girls trip to Nashville next month but I have no idea where to click! I dont want them to see my login stuff or my credit card. Sorry if this is a super basic question but is there a link?

I've tried many workarounds over the years, but honestly, creating a public Wish List is the best move. Last year I did this for a group trip and just moved items into a new list. It keeps your payment info totally hidden.

Jumping in here because I went through this exact mess for my cousins wedding last summer. Unfortunately, Amazon makes this way harder than it should be. Its actually kinda ridiculous that they dont have a simple share button for this yet. You basically cant just send a link to your live cart because its tied to your private login session. If you try to copy the URL from your browser address bar, your friends will just see their own empty carts or get a weird error message. Its pretty frustrating tbh. I had issues with almost every manual workaround:

  • Wish lists are okay but friends have to click every single thing individually which takes forever.
  • Collaborative lists are super buggy and sometimes items just disappear if two people are looking at once.
  • Sending 20 different links in a group chat is a total nightmare and looks messy. Being practical about it, you want something that doesnt cost money or take all day. I eventually found this really helpful guide on Cart To Link that explains exactly how to create a shareable link for your Amazon cart without the headache. Its not as good as an official feature would be, but it actually works. Nashville is gonna be pricey enough so you dont want to waste time on tech issues... honestly just keep it simple so everyone can see the gear and the total cost before you guys buy anything.

Just saw this thread. I've spent years looking for a native button, but it doesn't exist because Amazon ties your cart to your active session for security.

  • Try a collaborative Idea List.
  • Use browser extensions to export the data.
  • Manual screenshots are a last resort. You should definitely check out Cart To Link if you need to send your whole cart to someone else quickly without the hassle.
